Overview: I love this place for my “me” time, I don’t bring people here when I go to knit. There’s limited seating in and outside, but I usually find a table pretty quick even when it seems packed!
I get the Walnut Baklawa, always two pieces because I want two pieces! I get the Honey Cinnamon Latte with oat milk and feel the two make a great pair.
On one of the walls, they have a proverb, “الأول للهيف، والثاني للضيف، والثالث للكيف، والرابع للسيف”, it’s translated on the wall too, ” The first cup is for the maker. The second cup is for the guest. The third cup is for pleasure. The fourth cup is for the sword, loyalty.” Now, I didn’t take a picture of exactly how it is on the wall so this is part memory and thanks to a google search, forgive me if I totally butchered it! But something about this brings me joy every time I read it.
I love this place, and I would come everyday, but I don’t as this is my special place. I come here to be one with myself and my work, at peace in the hustle and bustle of the world around me. So while I won’t bring you with me, I’ll share it with you so you can check it out on your own!
