So I bought a set of the Tile devices and I couldn’t get the one to work from inside my card case. I figured it’s RFID blocking maybe it’s just blocking the signal and left it at that..
I don’t know how many hours I spend each week trying to figure out where I set it after walking in the door, it fell into a black hole, etc. So I figured I’d use the scrap yarn from Gir (Invader Zim) to make a card case I can’t miss.
So I casted on once, and about 1/3 of the way in decided I’d like to also be able to put my phone in the case too. So I casted on again.. and about 3/4 of the way through I decided I didn’t need a phone and wallet case sleeve.. but we’re 3/4ths the way through so just kept going.. I made a video of me binding off (immediately deleted from my camera roll) But I messed up the yarn so ended up sewing the two layers of fabric together.
Anyways, I did successfully remake the sleeve as originally conceptualized… I also decided heck let’s try one more time to see if the Tile works in the case.. so guess what? -sigh-
Oh well, great that it works but unfortunately my card case has too man things inside it for me to put one more thing. Also, I don’t know about you but I like not having to find my phone (which is likely also hiding) to then ring a device so having the lo-fi way is still good to have.
