Overview:
You arrive and park, the front of the parking lot enters this archway, at the end you find a friendly message.

This is a lovely kid friendly venue that offers adult beverages and food. You can shop the market to find fresh produce to gift items such as handmade soap and more!
Sadly, I did not take pictures of the food. Honestly, it looked so good I just dove straight in. My friend ordered the Pesto Chicken wrap which we both thought was good but we agreed that the Ham & Brie I ordered was better. We both felt that it was enough to eat and couldn’t finish our sandwhiches, granted we decided to split the sandwhiches so we’d both be able to try something we wanted.
We did try the beers, I had a Märtzen, which I felt was pretty good, though I’m not much of a beer person. My friend had a honey ale for my sake so that I could try it, we both felt it was kind of meh but enjoyed it on our walk to see the animals; which I don’t think we were supposed to take our drinks but no one said anything! :)
Ok, yes you read animals. As far as farms go, this is a very small farm. However, it is a very quiant and cute farm celebrating farm to table mentality in the middle of modern living. I heard of this place from something I’d seen on Instagram stating that they had alpaca, so of course I had to come see if it’s true. They have two! They also have a couple cows, chickens, a goat and I want to say that’s it but I couldn’t get close enough. They offer a paid tractor-pulled train ride for folks (mainly the kids) to go see, feed, and pet the animals. For those of us that are not interested in that sort of thing (or perhaps too tall to fit the toy car ) you can walk the (free) trail that goes around the perimiter. It’s a nice little walk after drinking and eating.
My friend had to leave to go to work, so I stayed to sober up from my beers and had a smoothie. I forget which one I ordered but it was the berriest option available. I remember the other option sounded good, it had kale in it, but wanted less healthy at that moment haha. It was very sweet and fresh, not from frozen, or syrupy as you get at most smothie places. I want another so I’ll definitely have to go back sometime!
As far as options between North and South San Diego this was a happy place to find that offers being outside in nature with shade for those of dark fashioned tastes. We both enjoyed our time and I enjoyed my solo knitting time, here I am knitting away!
