  • Yarn Chicken

    The suspenseful game of determining if you have enough yarn to complete the row/round or even the entire project.

  • Worked Flat

    When something is “worked flat” it is 2 dimensional, think blankets or scarves. It will generally have a “right side” and a “wrong side”.   • Stockinette Stitch (aka St st)

    This indicates that if you are working flat you are knitting one row and then purling the next. If you are working in the round you knit all rounds.

  • Knitting in the Round

    “Knitting in the Round” is a technique often used in sweaters and other garments. When listed on a pattern this indicates that the project is tubular. The round is created when the two ends of the cast on are joined so the “right side” and “wrong side” become an “inside” or an “outside”.
